What is Counselling?

Counselling is a type of talking therapy that gives you an opportunity to talk to someone who is professionally trained to listen. It will help you to talk about personal and emotional issues you are experiencing. It also provides you with the opportunity to move to a more satisfying and resourceful way to live by allowing you to explore your feelings, gain different perspectives and insights into your issues, and help you understand what is going on for you, allowing you to make positive changes.

We all experience emotional difficulties or distress during our lives - times of depression, loss, uncertainty, or simply feeling overwhelmed.

Counselling can aid you in developing a greater understanding of yourself and your patterns of behaviour.
