Seasons Counselling
for everything there is a season
A romantic relationship is one of the closest we have as humans. Choosing a partner and staying together through life's ups and downs is rarely simple. The closest relationship is built on trust and intimacy. When it stops working we are affected deeply and our health and happiness suffers.
EFT is an experiential approach which draws substantially from the principles of Emotion Theory and Attachment Theory. One of my key tasks therefore is to help you, the couple, identify and understand the underlying emotions that keep you stuck in rigid positions and negative interaction cycles.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples is a short to medium term (usually around 8-20 sessions) structured approach that was originally developed in the 1980s by Dr Leslie Greenberg and Dr Sue Johnson in North America.
I strive to support each partner in the exploration and expression of emotions that elicit compassion and connection, promote soothing, and help clients deal with unstated and unmet attachment needs.
As a Couples Therapist my aim is to help couples to better identify, experience, make sense of, and manage their emotional experiences.
